Laura and John teach all levels of both the English and Western Riding Disciplines. Whether you have never ridden or are ready to go to the World Championships they teach riders of all ages starting at 4 years old.
An emphasis is put on safety, and the fundamental skills of balance, hand, body, leg
coordination, understanding the horse and how they move, think, and learn. Proper Equitation and Horsemanship skills are taught by correctly using your seat and legs to effectively communicate with the horse. They also teach how to properly handle and work with the horse on the ground and proper grooming techniques, as well as tacking an
untacking. They have a positive approach and specialize in private and semi-private lessons to ensure each rider is getting the attention they need to excel to the next level and reach their goals.
If you do not have your own horse, they have several great lesson horses that have all been professionally trained and competed on the show circuits, so they are gentle, safe, and easy to learn on.
They also have lots of trails if your goal is to become a better trail rider or you want to prepare to take a vacation out West and possibly go on a cattle drive.
They have lighted indoor and outdoor riding arenas so you can ride in all types of
weather and even stay warm in the winter.
